“The Democrats’ US bailout is one of the worst bills Congress has ever passed. It was a reckless spending spree that caused the inflation crisis that wreaked havoc on the U.S. economy,” Mike Berg, spokesman for the National Republican Congressional Committee, said Friday of the figures from the ‘inflation.
He was referring to a $1.9 trillion law that Democrats passed mostly according to parties last year that, among other things, provided financial assistance through stimulus checks, increased unemployment benefits and expanded certain tax credits, including the child tax credit.

While Bacon, Hinson, Malliotakis and Valadao are all in competitive races – Valadao is ranked Toss-up by Inside Elections with Nathan L. Gonzales – the group looks beyond November and wants to show if the message could be useful to transform the political tables of the 2024 campaign cycle. The campaign will include cable television and broadcast, digital and postal ads.
February’s poll of 3,029 registered voters found people were more likely to attribute a message that “when the middle class does better, America does better” to Republicans.
