Platform Beer Co. Launches New Pride Month Beer to Benefit Ohio LGBTQ + Organization

CLEVELAND – Cleveland-based Platform Beer Co. launched a limited edition of its Martian Slushee Style Sour Ale with a portion of the proceeds in Ohio to benefit Stonewall Columbus throughout June, which is the month of pride.

Pride Martian, with flavors of watermelon, pineapple, and cherry, will be available at Ohio retailers that typically sell Platform beer.

For every case of Pride Martian beer sold, $ 1 will be donated to Stonewall Columbus, an organization created in 1981 that aims to increase visibility, inclusion and connection for the LGBTQ + community.

“Pride Martian aims to celebrate our LGBTQIA + community of employees, industry professionals and customers. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to give back through this project, ”said Paul Benner, co-founder of Platform Beer Co.

Beer will also be available on draft at select locations across the state.
