Purdue Student Life, sports partner in the creation of the Purdue Parents & Families Club

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The new Purdue Parents & Families Club – created through a partnership between Purdue Athletics and Purdue Student Life – offers more ways to engage parents, families and students.

This new membership opportunity will provide parents and families with access to a variety of unique and exclusive Purdue experiences to help build a deeper connection with the university where their students reside. This new organization will also increase the resources available to improve the campus experience for more than 41,000 students each year.

“In student life, we bring together all the elements of Purdue – housing, activities, arts, people, programs – and now we are thrilled to partner with Purdue Athletics to offer a one-of-a-kind giving society that all parents in Purdue and families can enjoy it while their student is on campus,” said Dr. Beth McCuskey, vice provost for student life.

Parents & Families Club members will have the opportunity to enjoy priority access to Purdue Athletics tickets and parking by receiving John Purdue Club membership, exclusive invitations to special events, quarterly management touchpoints from campus and special discounts at restaurants and local businesses in the Purdue community.

All Purdue parents and families can join for an annual fee of $500, which will provide Boilermaker students the opportunity to connect, learn and lead outside of the classroom.

“We are excited to move forward with Purdue Student Life on this partnership,” said mike bobinsky, vice-president and director of intercollegiate sports. “The Purdue Parents & Families Club will provide a distinctive experience for all of our families involved in the Boilermaker community, while continuing to develop our ability to invest in the student experience.

Additional membership benefits include early access to Family Weekend tickets (October 14-16), discounts at the Purdue Team Store and Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex, discounts on select Purdue Convocations shows and more Again.
