Ronald W. Robertson “Ron”

Ronald W. Robertson “Ron”, from Jamestown, NY, passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, peacefully at his home.

Ron was truly one of a kind in every way. Anyone who met him was instantly his friend. Ron was very generous with the kindness and love he always gave to others. It gave off a positive energy that you just couldn’t help but feel in your soul. Ron will always be remembered and his life will be celebrated.

Ron was born April 17, 1938 in Paw Paw, W. Va.

Ron was a veteran of the United States Army who served from October 16, 1961 until October 7, 1964.

Prior to his retirement, he was the property manager of Bradmar Village for over 30 years. Ron was an accomplished actor, appearing in numerous Little Theater productions over the years. Ron loved astrology and even taught a class about it at Jamestown Community College. After his retirement he enjoyed meeting new people at his store, Ellington Antiques. Ron was a deeply spiritual person and had a long association with the Lily Dale spiritual community.

Ron enjoyed working at home, gardening, his pets: Yukie, Winston, Eliot and Sammy, photographing, cooking, traveling, eating in interesting restaurants, watching movies, reading and having in-depth conversations.

Ron is survived by his niece, Bernice Whittington; his nephew, Roger (Glenda) Stonebraker; his great-niece, Heather Hodge; and his companion, Chris Churchill.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by Roger J. Carlson on April 8, 2020.

At Ron’s request, no services or visits will be observed at this time.
