(Thursday, October 7, 2021) The hot and mostly dry weather lasts until the end of the week despite some stubborn clouds.
The next chance for showers will be held until the weekend.
After another morning with some stubborn morning clouds and fog, we will see some afternoon sun breaks.
A little sun is enough just to bring the temperatures down to around 70.
The high pressure also keeps the area safe from the rain despite the low clouds.
Expect more clouds and fog to reform from Thursday evening through Friday morning.
Friday is shaping up to be a copy of Thursday which is mostly cloudy, some sunshine and highs around 70.
Later in the day on Saturday we will be watching for a front coming from the west which will probably produce some patchy showers.
So if you are planning to go to Speidie Fest on Saturday, just plan for a chance to have a downpour.
Few showers could linger until Sunday, but most of the day just looks cooler and cloudier.
The jet stream is expected to rise even higher so next week will cause another over 70 degree weather surge!
